Community Projects
My2FeetandIBD Community Projects are shaped by lived experience, connection, awareness, advocacy and inclusion.
Each project has its own purpose, but they all come back to the same idea: creating more opportunities for people to feel heard, understood, included and less alone.
Some focus on connection. Some share stories. Some encourage participation. Others raise awareness or create practical ways to support wellbeing.
My2FeetandIBD is an Australian lived-experience community creating projects around IBD, chronic illness, invisible illness, wellbeing, awareness, advocacy and inclusion. These community projects are designed to encourage connection, participation, understanding and practical support while recognising that every person’s experience is different.
Stronger Together
A lived-experience community space for people affected by IBD, chronic illness, invisible illness and related challenges to connect, share experiences and feel supported.
Your Voice
A place for people to share their personal lived-experience stories in their own words.
Your Voice is about making space for real journeys, perspectives, setbacks, achievements and experiences that deserve to be heard.
We Are Not Invisible
An awareness project focused on the realities people live with that others may never see.
It helps bring invisible illness, hidden challenges and lived experience into the open through honest stories and awareness.
Show Your Survival
A project about recognising what people have survived — whether their scars are visible, invisible, physical or emotional.
Through #ShowYourSurvival and #ProudOfMyScars, people are encouraged to share their strength, recovery and survival in whatever way feels right for them.
Our Adventures
A space for sharing photos, videos and experiences that others can enjoy too.
Whether someone is unable to travel, having a difficult day or simply wants to experience somewhere new from home, Our Adventures creates a way to share a little piece of the journey.
Challenge Me
Challenge Me invites people to suggest something for me to try.
The goal is to explore what I can still do, adapt where needed, share the experience honestly and hopefully encourage others to give something a go too.
Ask Me!
Ask Me! gives businesses, organisations, services and community providers the opportunity to invite me to try a product, service, venue, activity or experience from a lived-experience perspective.
I can share practical feedback on how inclusive, accessible and accommodating it feels in real-world use.
Good Days, Tough Days
A personal wellbeing and symptom tracker designed to help people reflect on their days, notice patterns, record symptoms and prepare information they may want to use in conversations about their health.
It is built around the idea that both the good days and the tough days matter.

Conditions A–Z
A growing collection designed to help people discover and better understand chronic, invisible and other health conditions they may know little about.
The aim is simple: more understanding, less judgement.
What You Don’t See
A creative storytelling project exploring the experiences behind chronic and invisible illness.
Through short visual stories, it looks at the moments, struggles and realities that often happen out of sight.
No Shame, Just Crohn’s
An honest conversation space about life with IBD, the awkward parts, the difficult parts and the things people do not always feel comfortable talking about.
Growing With the Community
Some projects are already active, while others are continuing to grow and develop.
The aim is not to create everything at once. It is to build meaningful projects with a clear purpose, shaped by real experiences and the needs of the people they are intended to support.
